CONTRIBUTE TO THE ARCHIVE
I am gathering photographic contributions showing artist mothers working, with or without their children, in studios, homes, or other working environments.
These images can be informal and do not need to be professionally produced: phone photos, snapshots, or work-in-progress documentation are all welcome. They may be taken by the artist herself or by someone else.
The images will be part of a collective visual archive documenting working realities, not presented as standalone artworks.
You can send images by email or via a download link, along with your name and, if you wish, a short caption.

If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch.
Optional questionnaire (if you wish to share more)
In addition to images, I am also gathering experiences and reflections from artist mothers.
If you would like to share your experience, you can answer the following questions:
- Please introduce yourself and your artistic practice.
- Do you identify as a mother?
- How many children do you have?
- Do you have childcare arrangements (e.g. crèche, school, family, shared care)?
- Do you have time for your artistic work? Do you feel it is sufficient?
- Do you have a workspace? If not, where do you work?
- How do you navigate artistic practice and domestic life on a daily basis?
- Do you work in the presence of your child/children?
- Do you collaborate with your child/children?
- Does your practice engage with motherhood or parenthood?
- Has becoming a parent influenced your work? If so, how?
You can include your answers in your email, or fill in this form.
*The term “mother” is used here to designate a primary caregiver, independent of biological relation, reproductive role, or gender identity.
